We are a group of victims, victims family members, concerned parents and grandparents who believe that the social norms surrounding domestic abuse need to change.

We also believe that family laws need to change to better protect victims and children of domestic abuse.

We model our group after MADD. There was a time not that long ago when impaired driving was socially acceptable. Also the tragic consequences of impaired driving were socially ignored. MADD not only got laws changed, but they also changed the social attitude towards impaired driving.

We aim to do the same with domestic abuse. Family laws need to be changed to better protect true victims of this abuse and their children. Perhaps more importantly, like impaired driving, society needs to change its norms surrounding domestic abuse.
